The Société Française de Cosmétologie (SFC), organizer of the IFSCC Cannes 2025 Congress, wishes to highlight
the work of young researchers during the event through the SFC Young Researcher Award.

ARTICLE 1 – ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS

This award is open to young authors who have expressed their interest in the prize during the abstract submission
process. Participation is free of charge and on a voluntary basis.

ARTICLE 2 – ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Participation in the award implies full and unreserved acceptance of these rules, which are available on the
official congress website: https://ifscc2025.com/en/
Participants agree to:
• Be under the age of 30 on September 19, 2025
• Be the author of the work presented
• Not have previously published the work
• Be registered as a participant in the IFSCC2025 Congress

ARTICLE 3 – PARTICIPATION PROCEDURE

As an author selected for a podium and/or poster presentation, each participant must have submitted a full paper
in PDF format within the required timeframe, as confirmation of their participation in the congress.

ARTICLE 4 – JURY AND SELECTION PROCESS

The jury is composed of scientific members of the SFC Board of Directors.
The evaluation of submitted work will follow an initial assessment by the congress’s scientific committee, which
will have ranked submissions from young researcher candidates. The top 10 full papers from this ranking will be
reviewed by the jury, based on both the written paper and the oral or poster presentation during the event.
The three main evaluation criteria are:
• The innovative nature of the research
• The relevance of the work to cosmetic science
• The potential impact on the cosmetics industry
The winner will be announced after the jury's deliberation on the afternoon of September 18, 2025.

ARTICLE 5 – AWARD AND PRIZE CEREMONY

The SFC Student Prize award ceremony will take place during the plenary session following the conferences on
September 18, 2025, in the presence of the winning candidate.
The award includes:
• A non-transferable registration for the IFSCC2026 Congress in Adelaide (Australia)
• The opportunity for the young researcher to present their work at an SFC scientific event (such as “Jeudis
by SFC” or the International Symposium)
• If the winner is French, one-year membership to the SFC for 2026

ARTICLE 6 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Participants acknowledge having obtained consent from any individuals mentioned, appearing in, or having
contributed to their work. This consent includes image rights and the authorization for SFC to use those images.
Participants grant the SFC the free and prior right to use their work for internal or public relations purposes (e.g.,
